¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) develops standards through over 200 Technical Committees (TC), each representing a specific sector of activity. ¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý provides expertise to the the principal TC for dentistry, ISO/TC106.

¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý works with the World Health Organization and the United Nations Environment Programme to prioritize oral heath on the global health and development agenda.

The NCD Alliance unites 2,000 civil society organizations representing different diseases and risk factors to improve NCD prevention and control worldwide. ¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý works closely with them to address the urgent need to integrate oral health into the prevention and treatment of NCDs.

¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý is a member of the World Health Professions Alliance, which brings together five organizations representing the world’s dentists, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists and physicians, speaking for more than 34 million healthcare professionals globally. 

¾ÛÐÇÌåÓý works with World Taekwondo to improve and promote oral hygiene and prevent dental injuries to protect the health and safety of athletes.
