Background

Dr Wendy Thompson is an academic general dental practitioner at University of Manchester. Her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and urgent dental care. She is lead author of ��������’s white paper on dental antibiotics and lead educator of the accompanying on-line course. Wendy is also consultant advisor to the Chief Dental Officer of England and a member of various national and international committees.

At the virtual Australian Dental Association (ADA) �������� World Dental Congress (26-29 September 2021), she will be presenting in four sessions on communicating about antimicrobial resistance and the impact of COVID-19 in dentistry.
